Looking for a thick, green lawn with minimal maintenance?
Tired of your lawn burning out in the summer?
Mountain View Seeds has the solution for you. Our professional grade grass seed, specifically formulated for the Northeast, consistently outperforms the leading brand in NTEP turf quality scores. With our grass seed, you'll get a healthier, more durable lawn that can withstand the heat and humidity of the Northeast, all while requiring less fertilizer, less water, and less pesticides.

The weather in the Northeast can be tough on grass, with cold winters and hot, humid summers that can be challenging for many grass species. That's why it's important to choose a grass seed mix that's specifically designed for the region's climate.

The Mountain View Seeds Northeast Mix is made with high-quality, top performing Kentucky Bluegrass as the primary species. Kentucky Bluegrass has long been a staple in the seed industry in the Northeast. At Mountain View Seeds we utilize the newest generation Kentucky Bluegrass to ensure your lawn has the deep green and thick turf you are looking for. We've also included a small percentage of Perennial Ryegrass to aid in ground cover and to out-compete weeds during establishment, as well as some Creeping Red Fescue to help provide better shade tolerance. This mix is sure to thrive in the Northeast's harsh climate and produce a dark green lawn without the need for extra inputs that can be harmful to the environment. At Mountain View Seeds… We believe in Better.

A-LIST grasses are scientifically tested at tier one research institutions to ensure a higher quality turfgrass lawn with lower inputs. Research trials look at reducing all inputs to ensure an A-LIST grass variety will perform at its bests when conditions are the worst. With many areas of the country facing restrictions ranging from water to reduced chemical and nutrient applications, the need for improved varieties to withstand more extreme conditions is crucial. The advances in turfgrass breeding varieties have produced turfgrasses varieties that can maintain a darker lawn longer at the same time being more sustainable.
